Stress can wreak havoc on our bodies, and many of us with autoimmune or other health issues can probably relate to having a stressful time leading up to it or chronic stress.
It’s so important to take care of ourselves and not let stress take over our lives. Essential oils have played a huge role in reducing my stress and how I handle it the past 3.5 years.
When they released the Serenity softgels two years ago, my husband and I both noticed how much they helped us during stressful times and we both love taking them for a restful night sleep, and when you diffuse calming oils such a Serenity (I love Adaptiv and Serenity together!) you get that much better of sleep.
In the morning I take an Adaptiv capsule which helps me to handle the different emotions and stressors during the day. I have been sticking Adaptiv in the diffuser in the morning, during the day and at night. I’ll share some of my favorite oils to combine with it in another post (but it’s amazing on its own too). Little changes like this along with deep breathing and exercise can all help keep our stress levels down and help keep our bodies functioning at their best.

Besides eating a healthy, well rounded diet, exercising, getting enough sleep, etc there are supplements and oils that you should be taking every single day, no matter how healthy (or not) you are.
First, you should be taking the full dose of the LifeLong Vitality Pack from dōTERRA. Even if you eat SUPER healthy, our foods don’t have the nutrients they once had due to our soil, etc, so we must supplement. At the bottom of this post I will explain how to work up to the full dose.
Next you should be taking a minimum of 5 TerraZyme (digestive enzyme) each day. Once when you wake up, with breakfast, lunch, dinner and before bed. “Enzymes play a critical role in growth, healing, and reproduction. They are also necessary for breathing, thinking, immune function, hormone regulation, detoxification, and thousands of other biochemical functions. Enzymes are also necessary for digesting food nutrients and converting nutrients to energy in cells.”
Throughout the day you should be adding a citrus oil to your water, and be drinking 1/2 your body weight in ounces. This helps to cleanse the body and aid in digestion. A drop for every 4oz of water is perfect. You want to make sure you aren’t drinking out of plastic when adding oils to your water because it will leach the plastic out even faster, and that’s adding more toxins back into your body. Stick with glass, stainless steel or ceramic.

How to work up to the full dose of the Lifelong Vitality Pack (LLV).
•Start with 1/2 dose of LLV - 1 capsule of each supplement twice/day.
•After 2 weeks, if feeling fine* increase to 3/4 dose of LLV -3 capsules of each supplement/day. (*BM’s, Digestion, Energy, Skin)
•After 2 weeks, if feeling fine*, increase to full dose of 2 capsules of each supplement twice/day.
•If you don’t feel great at the half dose, reduce to 1/4 dose -1 capsule of each supplement per day. If that’s still too much, start with the alternate protocol for several months before retrying the LLV.
